Vancouver-based NOMAD has designed a 10′ x 10′, 2-level micro house outfitted with an integrated living area, kitchen area, bathroom (which doubles as an integrated shower) and sleeping area.
It is being billed as an mortgage-free, sustainable way of living and can be easily shipped and assembled anywhere. Depending on the model and your specifications, the micro-house will cost between $25,000 to $28,000. Of course, this price tag doesn’t include the cost of Vancouver-priced land.
Super-green add ons like solar panels, rainwater collection and grey water treatment will come at a premium.
The start-up is in the process of raising funds through an Indiegogo campaign and is aiming to raise $120,000. To date, with 40 days remaining in the crowd funding campaign, it has raised $15,712.
